These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which Zak Mobile Tyres Glasgow (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides mobile tyre fitting, replacement, repair and related services to you. By booking or using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
We are a mobile tyre service. We travel to your home, workplace or a safe roadside location across Glasgow and Central Scotland to carry out the work. Our services cover tyre fitting, replacement and repair; we do not provide MOT testing or vehicle recovery.
Zak Mobile Tyres Glasgow is a mobile tyre fitting service based at Jessie Street, Polmadie, Glasgow G42 0PG. You can contact us on 0141 328 2625 or at info@zakmobiletyresglasgow.co.uk.
We provide mobile tyre fitting, tyre replacement, puncture repair, 24/7 emergency and roadside tyre assistance, run-flat fitting, seasonal tyre changes, locking wheel nut removal, same-day fitting where available, and fleet and van tyre services. All work is carried out at your location, provided the location is safe and suitable for the work to be done.
We provide a quote before carrying out any work, so you know the price before we start.
The price we confirm to you before starting is the price you pay for the work quoted. If the job turns out to be different from what was described when you booked (for example, a different tyre size, a run-flat rather than a standard tyre, or additional damage found on inspection), we will discuss any change in price with you before continuing.
Our starting prices are a guide. The final price depends on the tyre size, brand, whether the tyre is run-flat or standard, the service required, and whether a call-out charge applies beyond 2km. We confirm the full price before we begin work.
We accept payment by card, online payment and cash. In some cases we may ask for a deposit in advance, for example to secure a booking or to order in a specific tyre. Any deposit will be made clear to you at the time of booking. Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed otherwise. For business and fleet customers, VAT receipts are available on request.
We will agree a time or priority with you when you book. For emergencies we aim to respond as quickly as possible, but arrival times depend on traffic, weather, demand and your distance from us, and cannot be guaranteed. If you need to cancel or rearrange, please let us know as early as you can. Where we have incurred costs on your behalf, such as ordering a specific tyre, or taken a deposit, we may retain a reasonable amount to cover those costs.
To carry out the work safely, we need safe, suitable and reasonably level access to your vehicle. We may decline to carry out work in a location we consider unsafe, for example an unsafe roadside position or where conditions do not allow the work to be done properly. Your safety and ours comes first, and we will always advise if a location is not suitable.
We inspect tyres before recommending a repair or replacement. A puncture can only be repaired where it is safe and legal to do so, in line with the relevant British Standard. Damage to the sidewall or shoulder, or a tyre that has been driven on while flat, generally cannot be repaired and will need replacing. We will always advise you honestly, and we will not charge you for a repair that is not needed. The final decision on whether a tyre is safe to repair rests on our technician’s on-site inspection.
You are responsible for giving us accurate information when you book, including your location, vehicle details and, where possible, the tyre size or registration. You confirm that you are the owner of the vehicle or are authorised to arrange work on it. Please make sure the vehicle is accessible at the agreed location and time.
We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill, in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Any manufacturer warranty on a tyre we supply is provided by the tyre manufacturer, and we will pass on the relevant details. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for damage caused by factors outside our control, such as pre-existing faults with your vehicle or wheels.
If you are not happy with any part of our service, please contact us as soon as possible on 0141 328 2625 or at info@zakmobiletyresglasgow.co.uk, and we will do our best to put things right. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version that applies to your job is the one in force at the time you book. The date at the top shows when these terms were last updated.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of Scotland, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
